Draft Risk Assessment for the Public Health Impact of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Virus in Poultry, Shell Eggs, and Egg Products
The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is seeking public input on a draft report assessing the potential health risks associated with consuming poultry, eggs, and egg products contaminated with the highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) virus. The report aims to estimate the public health impact of HPAI exposure through food consumption and evaluate strategies to minimize exposure.
