VA Establishes Rule to Assist States in Hiring and Retaining Nurses at State Veterans Homes

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has established a final rule to help states hire and retain nurses at state veterans homes, aiming to reduce nursing shortages. This rule is based on provisions of the Veterans Health Programs Improvement Act of 2004.
