California Walnut Board Lowers Assessment Rate for Walnut Growers

The California Walnut Board has reduced the assessment rate for walnut growers from $0.0158 to $0.0131 per kernelweight pound of assessable walnuts, effective for the 2008-09 and subsequent marketing years, to fund program expenses.
