U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces 90-Day Finding on Petition to List Sacramento Mountains Checkerspot Butterfly as Endangered

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has initiated a status review of the Sacramento Mountains checkerspot butterfly, following a petition to list the subspecies as endangered under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, and will determine if critical habitat is warranted.
