NMFS to Hold Public Hearings on Critical Habitat Proposal for Endangered Smalltooth Sawfish

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) will conduct two public hearings in Florida in January 2009 to gather public input on a proposal to designate critical habitat for the endangered U.S. distinct population segment (DPS) of smalltooth sawfish, announced on November 20, 2008.
