Air Force to Grant Exclusive Patent License to EMTEC for DNA-Based LED Technology

The US Department of the Air Force has announced its intention to grant an exclusive patent license to EMTEC, a non-profit organization, for the development and use of a DNA-based LED coating for solid-state lighting, as described in Air Force invention number AFD 881.
