DHS Republishes Privacy Act System of Records Notice for Verification and Information System (VIS) System of Records

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is updating its Privacy Act system of records notice for the Verification and Information System (VIS) to reflect changes in its expansion to collect and verify U.S. passports and passport cards, citizenship and immigration status, and applications from victims of identity theft, making E-Verify more mandatory in certain cases.
