EPA Withdraws Revised Exceptional Event Rule for 2008 Ozone NAAQS Designations

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has withdrawn its direct final rule amendments to the Exceptional Event Rule, which was initially published on October 6, 2008, due to adverse comments received on the rule.
