FMCSA Adopts Regulations for Intermodal Equipment Providers and Motor Carriers

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has implemented new regulations requiring intermodal equipment providers (IEPs) to register and maintain inspection records, and motor carriers and drivers to undergo regular inspections, in an effort to improve the safety of intermodal equipment in interstate commerce.
