USDA to Hold Public Meeting on Reducing Salmonella in Poultry Products

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) will hold a public meeting on January 14, 2026, to discuss practical strategies for reducing Salmonella illnesses attributed to poultry products, following the withdrawal of a previous proposed rule and in response to public comments.
