EPA Approves New Scheduled Maintenance for Diesel EGR Valves in Heavy Duty Engines

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an engine manufacturer a new maintenance interval for exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves in certain heavy duty engine families for model years 2007-2009, in an effort to reduce emissions and improve engine performance.
