Coast Guard to Prepare New Environmental Impact Statement for Dry Cargo Residue Discharges in the Great Lakes

The US Coast Guard is preparing a new Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to support a potential final rule that may modify existing conditions for bulk dry cargo residue discharges in the Great Lakes, following a public scoping process that invites public comments on the scope of issues to be addressed.
