EPA Approves Air Quality Implementation Plans for Illinois and Indiana

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved two requests from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) to find that the Chicago-Gary-Lake County, IL-IN area has met the revoked 1-hour ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS).
