EPA Approves Oregon's State Implementation Plan for Salem Carbon Monoxide Nonattainment Area

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve Oregon's State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision for the Salem carbon monoxide nonattainment area, which has not violated the 8-hour CO National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) since 1985, in accordance with the Federal Clean Air Act (Act).
