Nuclear Regulatory Commission Confirms Effective Date for MAGNASTOR Spent Fuel Storage Cask System

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed the effective date of February 4, 2009, for the direct final rule adding the NAC International Inc. MAGNASTOR cask system to the list of approved spent fuel storage casks, as published in the Federal Register on November 21, 2008.
