U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Proposed GE-Hitachi Uranium Enrichment Facility

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has announced its intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for a proposed uranium enrichment facility by General Electric--Hitachi Global Laser Enrichment, LLC, which would be located near Wilmington, North Carolina.
