U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Spent Fuel Storage Cask Regulations

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to update its regulations for spent fuel storage casks, specifically the Holtec International HI-STORM 100 system, to include new instrument tube tie rods for certain fuel lattices and correct technical specifications issues.
