NTCHS Updates Hydric Soils Database Selection Criteria

The National Technical Committee for Hydric Soils has revised the criteria for selecting map unit components for the hydric soils list, adding subaqueous soils that were previously excluded, in accordance with 7 CFR 12.31 regulations and in line with the NTCHS publication 'Hydric Soils of the United States' (Miscellaneous Publication 1491, June 1991).
