CPSC Proposes Exemption from Child-Resistant Packaging for Powder Formulations of Colesevelam Hydrochloride and Sevelamer Carbonate
The Consumer Product Safety Commission is proposing to exempt powder formulations of two oral prescription drugs, colesevelam hydrochloride and sevelamer carbonate, from child-resistant packaging requirements due to their non-toxic nature and low risk of acute ingestion by young children.
