Consumer Product Safety Commission Issues Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Firepots and Gel Fuel Safety

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is issuing an advance notice of proposed rulemaking to address concerns about the safety of firepots and gel fuel, following 76 incidents that resulted in 2 deaths and 86 injuries between April 3, 2010 and September 1, 2011.
