FCC Issues Final Rules for Digital Television Transition

The Federal Communications Commission has released the final rules for the nation's broadcast television system to transition from analog to digital television, with deadlines for broadcasters to complete construction of their digital facilities by February 17, 2009, as mandated by Congress.
