FCC Amends Rules to Remove Notes on Access to Telecommunications Services for Persons with Disabilities

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has updated its rules to remove outdated notes regarding the implementation of Section 255 and 251(a)(2) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended by the Telecommunications Act of 1996, which pertain to access to telecommunications services, equipment, and customer premises equipment for individuals with disabilities, including those with hearing and speech impairments.
