FCC to Implement Analog Nightlight Act for Emergency Readiness

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is implementing the Short-term Analog Flash and Emergency Readiness Act, also known as the Analog Nightlight Act, which requires the development and implementation of a program to provide continued analog TV service for a limited period after the digital TV transition deadline. The program aims to ensure public safety information and DTV transition information are available to consumers who cannot receive digital signals.
