DHS and DOJ Publish Inflation-Adjusted Civil Monetary Penalties for Immigration Violations

The Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice have published new rules adjusting civil monetary penalties for immigration-related violations, effective for offenses committed on or after the rule's publication date, in accordance with the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990 and the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996.
