DEA Proposes Electronic Prescriptions for Controlled Substances

The US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is proposing to revise its regulations to allow licensed practitioners to write prescriptions for controlled substances electronically, while maintaining the existing system of controls, and potentially reducing paperwork and prescription errors.
