VA Delegates Authority to Settle Administrative Tort Claims Under $300,000

The Department of Veterans Affairs has delegated authority to the Secretary to settle administrative tort claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act for amounts up to $300,000, as mandated by the Administrative Dispute Resolution Act, and this new authority will be formally announced and documented in the Code of Federal Regulations.
