US Department of Justice Amends Regulations for DNA Sample Collection in Federal Jurisdiction

The US Department of Justice is updating its rules to require federal agencies to collect DNA samples from individuals arrested, charged, or convicted, as well as non-US persons detained under US authority, with certain exceptions and limitations.
