U.S. State Department Repeals Outdated Hostage Benefits Regulations

The State Department has repealed the 1990 regulations on hostage benefits for U.S. nationals in Iraq, Kuwait, or Lebanon, as the program funding has been eliminated, in accordance with Executive Order 13771.
