U.S. Government Rescinds Privacy Act of 1974 System for Foreign Service Employee Records

The U.S. government has announced the rescission of the Foreign Service Employee Locator/Notification Records, State-12 system, which was used to forward mail and notify next of kin in emergency situations, effective immediately.
