US Department of State Imposes Sanctions on Chinese Entity Linked to Russian Defense Sector

The US Secretary of State has imposed sanctions on the Equipment Development Department of the Central Military Commission, a Chinese entity linked to Russia's defense sector, and its director, Li Shangfu, in accordance with the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act of 2017 and an executive order issued in 2018.
