EPA Proposes Approval of Connecticut's State Implementation Plan Revision for Fine Particle Air Quality Standard

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a State Implementation Plan revision submitted by the State of Connecticut, which aims to establish early emission budgets for fine particulate matter (PM 2.5) in the New York-Northern New Jersey-Long Island nonattainment area, in accordance with the Clean Air Act.
