EPA Approves Connecticut's Air Quality Plan, Sets Emission Budgets

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by the State of Connecticut, which establishes early emission budgets for fine particulate matter (PM 2.5) in the New York-Northern New Jersey-Long Island nonattainment area, in accordance with the Clean Air Act.
