Western Pacific Pelagic Fisheries to Prepare Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for Hawaii-based Longline Swordfish Fishery

The Western Pacific Fishery Management Council and the National Marine Fisheries Service have announced their intention to prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for the federal management of the Hawaii-based shallow-set pelagic longline swordfish fishery in the western Pacific Ocean, following a public notice correction regarding an additional opportunity for public involvement.
