US Department of the Interior Updates Mineral Resources Regulations to Reflect Cost Recovery Fees

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has amended its mineral resources regulations to update fees for processing documents and filing fees for mineral-related documents, in response to recommendations from the Department of the Interior's Office of Inspector General, dating back to a 1988 report and a 1980s Presidential initiative to charge user fees for agency services.
