Pipeline Safety: Updated Notification of the Susceptibility to Premature Brittle-Like Cracking of Older Plastic Pipe

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) is issuing an updated advisory bulletin to inform owners and operators of natural gas pipeline distribution systems about the increased risk of premature brittle-like cracking in older plastic pipes, and to encourage them to review previous guidance on the subject.
