DoD Issues Interim Rule to Extend Security-Guard Functions at Military Installations

The Department of Defense has issued an interim rule to extend the authorization for contractors to perform security-guard functions at military installations until September 30, 2009, in response to the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001.
