U.S. Department of Energy Amends Record of Decision for Storage of Surplus Plutonium Materials at Savannah River Site

The U.S. Department of Energy is updating its plan to store surplus plutonium materials at the Savannah River Site in South Carolina, involving the transfer of approximately 2,511 additional packages from the Hanford Site, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
