EPA Denies NRDC Objections to Pyraclostrobin Tolerances

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has denied objections from the Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC) to the issuance of tolerances for the pesticide pyraclostrobin on various food commodities, citing the removal of an additional safety factor for infant and child protection as lawful under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act of 1938.
