US Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Black Hills National Forest Land Management Plan
The US Forest Service will assess the environmental impact of proposed land management actions in the West Rim Project Area of the Black Hills National Forest in South Dakota, which include commercial thinning, prescribed burning, and other treatments to reduce fire hazard and improve forest health.
