Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Idaho National Forests Amendment

The US Forest Service plans to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to assess the environmental effects of proposed amendments to the 2003 Land and Resource Management Plans for the Boise, Payette, and Sawtooth National Forests in Idaho. The amendments aim to implement a comprehensive wildlife conservation strategy (WCS) to protect habitats associated with terrestrial wildlife species over the next 10-15 years.
