BLM-Alaska Discontinues Planning for NPR-A South Portion

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Alaska State Office, has stopped planning efforts for the southern part of the National Petroleum Reserve--Alaska (NPR-A) and its accompanying Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The decision marks the end of planning for this portion of the reserve, which is managed by the BLM.
