US Government Proposes Consolidation of Fruit Fly Regulations

The US government is proposing to combine six separate regulations covering different species of exotic fruit flies into a single regulation, aiming to eliminate duplication and enhance flexibility, and also introduce a mechanism to quickly remove quarantined areas from the regulations.
