Extension of Import Restrictions Imposed on Archaeological Material from Mali

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations have been amended to extend import restrictions on archaeological material from Mali, including those from the Paleolithic Era, until September 19, 2012. The restrictions, previously set to expire on September 19, 2007, were extended due to a determination made by the United States Department of State under the 1970 Convention on Cultural Property Implementation Act.
