EPA to Review Air Quality Criteria and NAAQS Under Proposed Consent Decree

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will review and potentially revise air quality criteria and National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides, following a proposed consent decree filed by the Center for Biological Diversity and other plaintiffs in 2006.
