EPA to Propose Settlement Agreement on Clean Air Act Lawsuits

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a settlement agreement to address three lawsuits filed by industry groups, including the American Iron and Steel Institute, the Specialty Steel Industry of North America, and the Steel Manufacturers Association, regarding final rules on New Source Performance Standards for Electric Arc Furnaces and Monitoring Requirements.
