TRICARE Expands Dental Coverage for Children and Patients with Disabilities

The TRICARE program has implemented changes to cover dental care for children and certain patients with disabilities, as authorized by the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007. This rule provides coverage for contracted medical care beyond the required dental care for patients with developmental, mental, or physical disabilities, or for pediatric patients under the age of 5.
