Extension of Import Restrictions Imposed on Archaeological Material From Guatemala

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations have been amended to extend import restrictions on certain archaeological material from Guatemala for an additional 5 years, following a determination by the United States Department of State that conditions warrant the continued imposition of these restrictions. The restrictions were initially imposed by Treasury Decision 97-81 and later extended by Treasury Decision 02-56.
