Temporary Drawbridge Closure for AIWW Maintenance

The US Coast Guard has approved a temporary deviation to allow the Figure Eight Swing Bridge at the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) to remain closed to navigation from November 1, 2007, to January 31, 2008, to facilitate sandblasting and painting operations, with commercial vessel openings available upon advance notice.
