National Park Service Announces Availability of Final Environmental Impact Statement for North Shore Road in Great Smoky Mountains National Park

The National Park Service, in collaboration with the Federal Highway Administration, has made the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the North Shore Road in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, North Carolina, available for public review. The document addresses comments on the Draft EIS and outlines the Agency's preferred alternative, as required by the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and NPS policy.
