Federal Transit Administration and New Jersey Transit Corporation Plan to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Rail Service Restoration in Northern Branch Corridor

The Federal Transit Administration and New Jersey Transit Corporation intend to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement to study the restoration of rail passenger service on the Northern Branch rail corridor between North Bergen, Hudson County, and Tenafly, Bergen County, in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and the recently enacted Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users.
